Obituary Index & Obituary Purchase

We have over 100,000 obituaries that are on our web site and may be purchased either by contacting us at the address or phone number above or with your credit card using the form at the bottom of this page. We are continually increasing the list as time permits. In March 2013 we added approximately 5000 new obituaries to the site. As time permits we will index the remaining obituaries in our files and add them to the list.

These files are large and may take extra time to load.

In some cases obituaries for a person appeared in more than one newspaper. So there may be more than one obituary for an individual. Occasionally two different people have the same name. And in a few instances the same obituary was collected by two different individuals and later indexed separately in two different books.

If an obituary reported the maiden name of a married woman, that name was recorded in our index. Since these obituaries were indexed by different people, maiden names were sometimes recorded in parentheses after the woman's first name and sometimes in a separate column of data.

For a copy of an obituary, send $5.00 and a SASE to the address above. Be sure to send the last name, first name, book number and page of the obituary.
