Press Release - Bedford, Pa: February 24, 2011...The Bedford County Historical Society is seeking information for those men from Bedford County that served in the Korean War. General Hank Meetze has been working on a booklet that we hope to publish which recognizes the men that either died in the war or were captured and held as prisoners.

The Society would like to also include in the booklet the names of Bedford County men that served in the Korean War and came home. We do not have any type of list containing this information. Would anyone with information, photographs, obituaries, etc. please contact us by phone, email, or letter as soon as possible with any information you may have?
