TOUR TO THE NATIONAL CIVIL WAR MUSEUM
|
|
The National Civil War Museum is the only museum in the United States that portrays the entire story of the American Civil War. Equally balanced presentations are humanistic in nature without bias to Union or Confederate causes. Experience a multitude of human drama that made up the war, from slavery to camp life, to the turmoil of 19th century politics. The Museum will immerse you in the time period, with equal emphasis on both sides. There is a special exhibit focusing on 1861 that highlights the events, battles, and people of 1861, in recognition of the Sesquicentennial of the American Civil War. Please note that video cameras, cell phones, food and/or drinks are prohibited in the exhibit areas. The museum does allow cameras with the flash turned off. Vending areas are available for your convenience. As of October 28, we have ONLY 9 SEATS left on the bus for this tour. To make reservations or for more information, contact the Society at the phone number or email above. The cost is $45.00 for members and $50 for non-members; the fee includes bus and admissions costs. You are responsible for all meals. Payment is due when making reservations.
