The Civil War Alliance of Bedford County, of which the Bedford County Historical Society and Old Bedford Village are a part, will host the Pennsylvania Civil War 150 Road Show on Friday through Sunday, June 17-19, 2011, from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm at Thomas Chevrolet, Business 220, Bedford.

The Pennsylvania Past Players, a living history group that has been representing the State government at various events over the last four years, will be present. They will present programs on Saturday at 3:00 pm and on Sunday at 1:00 pm. In addition to the programs, members of the group will move freely among visitors, engaging with them informally in small groups. A description of the Pennsylvania Past Players may be found here

The Improved Order of Red Men Wambic Tribe 507 will be selling food and beverages to visitors.

Many volunteers from the county's Historical Societies will be volunteering at this event. The Road Show is free and open to the public, with the exhibit taking approximately 45 minutes to view.
