On January 16 the Pioneer Library held the drawing for the Basket of Books that the
Society raffled off for a fund raising activity. The raffle was very successful. Over
900 tickets were sold. Arlene Cottle from Everett, PA, won the raffle. Arlene is a
retired nurse from UPMC Bedford Memorial. The picture on
the left shows Arlene holding one of the books with the remainder of the Basket of
Books on the table beside her.
