Bedford County Historical Society/Pioneer Library hours are:
Summer Hours

  • Summer Hours - April through October
    • Monday through Friday, Open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    • Saturday - Open Third Saturday of every month from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. - Closed other Saturdays
    • Sunday - Closed
  • Winter Hours - November through March
    • Monday - Closed
    • Tuesday through Friday, Open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    • Saturday - Closed
    • Sunday - Closed

We are closed on major holidays and sometimes for a day or two before or after the holdiay. Exceptions to normal hours will be posted on our main page.

 

Directions to the Pioneer Library

Since August 10, 2009, we have been housed in our new home in an historic "bank" barn, situated next to a log house on the Lincoln Highway. Our new address is 6441 Lincoln Highway, Bedford, on U.S. 30 about four miles west from the center of Bedford Borough and about 3/4 mile east of the Jean Bonnet Tavern.
